Gary Ranker’s success is based upon his keen understanding of the varying agendas of persons from different viewpoints within companies or between cultures multinationally. The unique specialty he is best known for is coaching clients to analyze their corporate political environment and develop concrete strategies to achieve goals. Dr. Ranker received his Ph.D. from The Fielding Institute, Santa Barbara, California, in Human and Organizational Development with an emphasis on future societal and corporate trends. He also holds a Graduate Degree in International Management from The American Graduate School for International Management, Thunderbird Campus, Phoenix, Arizona and a B.A. Degree from the University of Redlands, Redlands, California. Forbes magazine listed Dr. Ranker as one of the top five executive coaches for 2000. He also appeared in Who’s Who in Marketing - International. Prior to his current coaching work, Dr. Ranker was president of Hallmark Cards - Germany and President of two Textron, Inc. companies in Australia and New Zealand. During his career, Dr. Ranker has lived and worked on four continents. Ranker taught at the School of Business Administration at the University of Southern California for many years. His specialty was a required course: “Strategic Decision Making and Policy Analysis,” an investigation of management styles and study of how decisions are made by senior management. Dr. Ranker is a pioneer in the field of personal and team coaching. His clients include GE, Sony, AIG, and Harcourt among others. It is for this expertise that he and his organization, Transinfo/GLR Enterprises LLC, are well known. He helps managers to better understand the effects of their interpersonal behavior and coaches them to more effectively leverage strengths and improve developmental areas - all within an objective of increasing personal and team productivity.
