Built a 200-person TV studio, broadcasting live 24/7, on a very low budget, as well as a retailing operation equivalent to a department store in terms of SKUs. The only new retailing network to go live on schedule. Candice was also President of Time-Life Video and Time-Life Video and Television. Built a start-up operation into the most profitable division of Time Life, and then expanded the business to include original TV in order to leverage the video revenue stream, based on a significant customer data-base, greatly reducing the financial risks. The first production in the new division was awarded the Emmy for Best Prime-Time Documentary, aired on NBC in 1994. She also led the Consumer Financial Services, Sign and Travel activities and Marketing and Strategic Planning during her tenure at American Express. Candice holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University.
